Established 1858.

Stretching from the Main Divide to Lake Tekapo, Godley Peaks Station is the real Mackenzie Country.

This is alpine High Country, 900 metres above sea level on the western shore of Lake Tekapo. Sweeping braided rivers fall from glaciers to the lake, jagged mountain tops frame the skyline, and the weather creates an everchanging backdrop for the rugged men and women who farm this land.

We’re a sheep and beef farm, mixing an ethos of sustainability and regenerative farming with classic high-country stewardship. This station is 15,000 hectares. We farm 3,500. We care for it all.
